I’ve before tested punk tee designs like this: Raw, messy, fast and authentic stencil-like art. None have caught on. Maybe the style and content clashed in a confusing way.
@DevinCow tagged me in a reply to the tweet below and I’m trying again.
The aesthetic might work better with this content, capturing the extemporaneous guerilla aspect of the message/image of the poster displayed on an overpass in Nunes’ district.
I’d like to do more rough, honest, quick designs like this as it captures what I’ve loved doing my whole life: applying the combination of my meager writing, mediocre visual art and oversized ambition to share expressions with others while generally breaking even on whatever I put out there. I’m still spending too much time on details nobody but me will notice and still stying up too late. Maybe the biggest change for me in the past three decades is I’m now drinking snobby ciders and IPAs instead of Shaeffer Beer and Pepe Lopez Tequila.
